Wizz Air scraps planned Budapest-Baku flights
Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air yesterday said it had scrapped plans to re-launch a Budapest-Baku flight on its summer timetable, as the company was unable to make a satisfactory agreement on fees and costs with the local airport.
Passengers with tickets for the flights, which had originally been scheduled to launch on March 29, will be refunded. Wizz Air first launched a direct Budapest-Baku flight in June of 2013.
