Transport

Hungarian low-fare carrier Wizz Air yesterday announced the relaunch of flights between Hungary and Spain after Spain stopped requiring immunity certificates or COVID tests of arrivals from Hungary, according to piacesprofit.hu.

Wizz Air will operate flights from Budapest to Alicante, Barcelona, Ibiza, Madrid, Malaga, Palma de Mallorca, and Tenerife.

Flights from Debrecen (225 km east of Budapest) to Palma de Mallorca will also resume.

Travelers returning from Spain to Hungary still require two negative PCR tests or an immunity certificate.
