Wizz Air Launches Budapest-Antalya Route

Transport

Wizz Air has launched its first flight from Budapest to Antalya, Turkey. The route, which is the airline's fourth new departure from Hungary this year, follows the take-off of the first flight from Istanbul by about two months.

The Wizz Air network now offers more than 60 destinations for Hungarian travelers. The new flight is part of the airline's wider route expansion plan, connecting Turkey with a number of other countries and cities.

The city of Antalya is a popular holiday destination on the "Turkish Riviera", offering plenty of options for nightlife-enjoyers and those looking for family-friendly programs too.

"We are extremely proud to add Antalya to our network of destinations in Turkey. After daily flights to Istanbul, a true Turkish holiday paradise is now opening its doors to the Hungarian public. This is further proof of the airline's commitment to making the travel experience accessible to everyone," said Zsuzsa Trubek, spokeswoman of Wizz Air.

"We are delighted to be launching a new service with our largest partner, Wizz Air, to Turkey, including Antalya, known for its beautiful beaches and stunning beaches. Turkey continues to be one of the most popular destinations for the Hungarian traveling public and the opening of Wizz Air's service will allow even more people to discover this magical country," said Balázs Bogáts, deputy chief commercial officer of Budapest Airport.
