Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air will add another Airbus A320 to operate its flights to and from Bucharest, Romania’s capital. This will increase the carriers’ capacity by 29%, Wizzair announced late yesterday.

The airline is expanding the number of its Romanian destinations. In July the company started to operate flights between Craiova and Barcelona, Bologna, Dortmund and Rome. In december 2014, new flights will start between the romanian city of Iasi and Treviso (Italy), and in the following spring, between Iasi and Milano, Bergamo and London.

At the end of 2014, Wizzair will fly from six destinations in Romania : Bucharest, Timisoara, Cluj-Napoca, Targu Mures, Craiova and Iasi. The company will maintain its fares at an affordable price for Romanian travelers, and hopes the increase in the number of destinations will boost tourism and employment in Romania.
