Waberer's to receive nearly HUF 1 bln grant for investment

Listed Hungarian haulage company Waberer's International said Thursday it will receive a one-off government grant to carry out a HUF 3 billion investment increasing its storage capacity at several locations, state news wire MTI reports.
The grant will finance 33% of the investment under an agreement signed with Hungary's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the company said.
Waberer's is expected to raise the number of its employees by 230 under the grant program.
Waberer's said the funding will come from a government program to support competitiveness-improving investments launched in April and is in line with a June European Commission resolution.
