Surging Deliveries Struggling With Rising Costs

Almost all cost elements of home deliveries have increased significantly in the past period, writes profitline.hu.

Following the modification of the fuel price cap, the costs of refueling have risen by more than 60%, and due to the narrowing of the possibility of simplified taxation, the employment of couriers in the case of many businesses is also much higher than before.

In addition, the increase in leasing costs makes the maintenance of the fleet of vehicles necessary for the delivery of orders even more difficult.

All of this together could set back the development not only of e-commerce but also of restaurants that deliver food to homes, even though the popularity of both services has increased markedly in the last two years.
