SkyEurope doubles passenger traffic in Hungary

flights to 538,000 over the last 12 months, CEO Christian Mandl announced on Monday. SkyEurope has operated 5,600 Budapest flights in the last 12 months, up 44% year-on-year. And it plans to launch new flights as well, reinforcing its position on the market. SkyEurope plans to add 32 Boeings to its 15-plane fleet by 2010, Mandl said. SkyEurope has carried 2.8 mln passengers since setting up in 2001.
The airline has bases at airports in Budapest, Krakow, Warsaw, Bratislava and Vienna.
