Scooter transport is spreading much faster than expected on Hungarian roads, writes business daily Világgazdaság.
The Jövő Mobilitása Szövetség (JMSZ) forecast two years ago 30,000-40,000 scooters by 2023, but the means of transport has spread in much greater numbers, and today people are using between 80,000-100,0000 scooters.
According to the association's statement, about 25,000 of these scooters can be rented; the rest are privately owned.
