Rail Cargo Hungaria acquires TS Hungaria

Rail Cargo Hungaria has acquired 100% of rolling stock maintenance, development and manufacturing company Technical Services Hungaria Jarmujavito as of January 1, 2021, Rail Cargo Hungaria said on Thursday, according to a report by state news wire MTI.
TS Hungaria performs the maintenance and repair work of around 1,400 railway cargo vehicles and more than 12,000 railway bicycles.
Thanks to the acquisition, the two companies will be able to mutually exploit synergies, share knowledge and coordinate capacities and activities. It will improve the chances of TS Hungaria as a unit of Rail Cargo Hungaria to win European Union and national grants, RCH said in the statement.
