New Bike Path Connecting Zala County Towns

Transport

Towns across Zala County are being connected by a new bicycle path, which is being built by the Zala county municipality using funding from the Territorial and Settlement Development Operative Program.

The project continues the bicycle path development that had previously begun in the area, according to profitline.hu.

The local government said that the 3.1-kilometer-long asphalted bicycle path between Kerkateskánd (250 km southwest of Budapest), Lovászi (255 km southwest), and Tornyiszentmiklós (250 km southwest) would be built in the 200 days given for the construction in the project, which will be realized at the cost of more than HUF 434 million.

This construction continues the more than 10.3 km of cycle paths already completed.
