Motorway vignette sales volume climbs

The number of motorway vignettes sold in Hungary was close to 4,300,000 in January-April, increasing from 4,160,000 in the same period a year earlier, toll operator NÚSZ said on Monday, state news wire MTI.

The number sold included 482,500 vignettes for all motorways in Hungary valid for a year as well as a further 429,000 valid for a month and 1,540,000 valid for ten days. Motorists bought 1,830,000 vignettes valid for a full year in a single county, some of which were pre-purchased late in 2020.

NÚSZ noted that around 1 million of the county vignettes were sold for Pest County.
