Motorists bought 162,000 annual motorway stickers in December
Motorists purchased nearly 162,000 annual motorway vignettes in December valid for 2022, toll operator NÚSZ said yesterday, according to novekedes.hu.
NÚSZ has been offering annual motorway vignettes for early purchases since December 2016.
At the launch of the scheme 76,000 vignettes were purchased early.
In 2021 pre-purchase numbers climbed to 142,000.
Of the motorway vignettes sold early for 2022 around 70,000 are for all motorways and 92,000 vignettes are valid for a full year in a single county.
