Lufthansa strike freezes two Hungarian routes

All of Lufthansa’s Budapest-München and Budapest-Frankfurt flights have been cancelled due to a strike initiated by airlines workers today, and expected to continue over the next two days, Budapest Liszt Ferenc Airport announced today.

Lufthansa representative Tamás Lichtenberger said that, altogether seven flights have been cancelled today, affecting 750 passengers. According to Lichtenberger, all passengers were redirected, therefore the strike caused limited difficulties. The representative could not add further details regarding Lufthansa flights scheduled for tomorrow.
