Gov't Sets 2023 Motorway Vignette Prices

The technology and industry minister has set motorway vignette prices, effective from January 1, 2023, in a decree published in the latest issue of the official gazette Magyar Közlöny, according to a report by state news wire MTI.

The price of a 10-day motorway vignette for D1-category passenger cars will rise to HUF 5,500 from HUF 3,820, while the price for a one-month vignette will climb to HUF 8,900 from HUF 5,210, and the price of a one-year vignette will increase to HUF 49,190 from HUF 46,850.

The price of a one-year D1 vignette good for a single county will rise to HUF 5,720 from HUF 5,450, the report notes.
