EV gaining popularity in Bulgaria, albeit at slower pace

There are just 3,500 electric vehicles (EVs) on Bulgarian roads, according to the latest statistic data from 2018.
However, their number has been rising between 20% and 50% annually, although the pace is much slower than that in Central and Western Europe, Iliya Levkov, chairman of the Electric Vehicles Industrial Cluster has told public radio BNR.
