Electronic toll payment system to go offline early Sunday

Transport

Hungary's national electronic toll payment system will go offline for an upgrade between 1:00 and 5:00 in the morning on Sunday, toll operator NÚSZ said on Friday, according to a report by state news wire MTI.

The shutdown will affect both motorway vignettes and top-ups for HU-GO balances, required for commercial vehicles.

NÚSZ advised travelers to buy vignettes or top up their HU-GO balances ahead of the scheduled maintenance.
