Budapest Bike Share Ride Numbers Reach 3 mln

Budapest's upgraded MOL Bubi bike-sharing scheme has been used 3,000,000 times since its re-launch in the spring of 2021, BKK said on Tuesday, according to a report by state news wire MTI.

The scheme is operated by the Budapest Transport Center (BKK) with the support of Hungarian oil and gas company MOL,

The number of daily rides was more than 10,000 for nearly all of June and July, even reaching 13,000 on a number of days.

The scheme now boasts 173 docking stations.
