British Airways records 15% revenue rise in Hungary
Revenue of British Airways' office in Hungary increased 15% in the airline's business year ended March 31, largely because of sales of premium products and a new pricing policy for European destinations, the office announced on Thursday.
The statement did not disclose the office's revenue. Sales manager in charge of Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia Anna Chmelikova recently told journalists that passenger numbers increased 10% during the business year, but declined to reveal any other figures. British Airways carried 55,000 passengers on 318 Budapest flights in January-March, according to the most recent figures published by the Central Statistics Office (KSH).
