The Budapest Public Transport Center (BKK) will operate a more frequent airport shuttle bus service from Monday, including running the buses all night, to accommodate an increase in passenger numbers at Ferenc Liszt International Airport, according to a report by state news wire MTI.

BKK said the 100E express bus service between the city centre and Liszt Ferenc will run every 7-9 minutes on Mondays, Fridays and Sundays. On Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays the buses will run every 10 minutes. On Saturdays they will run once every 8-10 minutes during the day.

From midnight until 3:30 in the morning the buses will run every 30-40 minutes on all days of the week.

Tickets for the airport shuttle bus cost HUF 1,500 apiece.
