AA launches direct Budapest-Philadelphia flight

Hot in the wake of the reestablishment of direct air connections from Budapest to the United States last week through Polish airline LOT, American Airlines launched a direct flight between Philadelphia and Budapest late Friday, local time.
American Airlines will operate the flight daily. The airline simultaneously launched a direct flight between Philadelphia and Prague, state news wire MTI reported.
Last Thursday, May 3, Polish airline LOT launched a direct flight between Budapest and New York City, re-establishing a direct connection to the United States absent for seven years. LOT also began direct flights between Budapest and Chicago on Saturday.
