Property development firm Wing has sold the Family Center shopping mall to the Unione Investment Group.

Wing purchased the Family Center Szombathely shopping mall in early 2018.

The Family Center shopping mall is located in the heart of the largest retail area in Szombathely and Vas County, next to a Tesco hypermarket and a Praktiker hardware superstore. With nearly 30 popular stores and a seasonal assortment of sales booths, it has become one of the area’s favorite shopping spaces since opening in 2005. It is home to a number of shops that are not present anywhere else in the county, including Media Markt, Hervis, and C&A.

In the past few years, under Wing’s ownership, Family Center Szombathely has seen an increase in both visitor numbers and turnover, thanks to its location and selection of shops. The mall now boasts an occupancy rate of nearly 100%. The shopping center remained open throughout the coronavirus pandemic, and its turnover is now higher than it was before the pandemic
