Value of E-commerce in Poland to Rise to PLN 141.3 bln in 2027
The value of e-commerce in Poland will grow to PLN 141.3 billion (appr. EUR 30.1 billion) in 2027 from PLN 92 billion this year, according to a forecast by research firm PMR.
Of this, PLN 87.4 billion will come from online stores and PLN 53.9 billion from platforms.
"E-commerce still has great growth potential in Poland, but we predict it will no longer be the expansion we have seen in recent years. Between 2018 and 2021, the value of e-commerce in our country grew by an average of 26% annually, and between 2022-2027 we forecast an average annual growth rate of 11%. The slowdown is another sign that the Polish e-commerce sector is entering a maturity phase," the report said.
