Tesco Magyarország posts turnover increase for H1

The Hungarian unit of British hyprermarket chain Tesco reported a 1% turnover increase from a year earlier for the first half of 2014 ending on August 31, Tesco Magyarország informed Hungarian news agency MTI.
Within Europe, Tesco only posted turnover increases in the Czech Republic, Poland and Hungary for the first half. A few weeks ago Morgan Stanley reported that Tesco should invest in the United Kingdom if they wish to remain on top. In order to do so, it was advised that the hypermarket chain sell its stores outside of the UK.
