T-Mobile International selects Amdocs for single, enterprise-wide product catalog

Amdocs Enterprise Product Catalog 7 will help the global provider shape a future of seamless mobility for its customers.

Amdocs, the leading provider of customer experience systems, today announced that T-Mobile International, one of the largest global mobile communications service providers in the world with almost 112 million subscribers worldwide, selected Amdocs Enterprise Product Catalog 7.

The Amdocs software will provide T- Mobile International with a single, enterprise-wide repository for all products and price plans across T-Mobile’s numerous offerings, companies and markets. The software will also allow T-Mobile to optimize its product lifecycle management to drive faster time to market for new offerings, while ensuring these offerings are better aligned to customer needs. This will help the provider to unlock the revenue potential from its innovative product strategies.

The Amdocs Enterprise Product Catalog has already been deployed at T- Mobile Germany, the largest member of the T-Mobile group. The Amdocs product supports its more than 34 million customers; T-Mobile UK will be the next to follow. This positions T-Mobile International at the vanguard of future best practices, while driving significant total cost of ownership (TCO) savings. The current initiative follows a long history of Amdocs’ successful deployments at T-Mobile companies, including T-Mobile Germany, UK, Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary, USA and Netherlands.

Amdocs Enterprise Product Catalog is a new, state-of-the-art product within the Amdocs 7 suite, which was launched earlier in 2007. A centralized system integrating product data, business processes and IT investments across both legacy and new systems, Amdocs Enterprise Product Catalog ensures a single repository for all enterprise product information to support business and operations support systems (BSS/OSS). The Amdocs software can replace multiple product catalogs and support an unlimited number of different offerings, allowing a provider to define, blend, price, bundle, maintain and retire its products across any line of business easily and quickly, thus creating a consistent and simple purchasing experience for customers.
