Szamos Marcipán a success in Prague

the centre of Prague is highly successful, national daily Népszava said on Tuesday. The tiny shop selling assorted Hungarian Szamos marzipan products coated with dark chocolate opened in Prague's main square a few weeks ago. It's owner, 23 year-old Czech entrepreneur Veronika Eliasova, fell in love with the confection in Budapest and now plans to bring another Hungarian specialty, herbs drink Unicum to the Czech capital. Szamos Marcipán, with an annual Ft 2 billion (€8 million) worth of output, exports 20% of the confection and plans to
expand further abroad, commercial director Pászti Balázs said. The company employs 250 people and offers 300 various sweet products, he said.
