Spar Magyarország sales rise 3% in 2015

The turnover of supermarket chain Spar Magyarország was up 3% compared top the previous year, reaching HUF 488.2 billion in 2015, managing director Gabriella Heiszler said today, according to Hungarian news agency MTI.
Spar had 456 stores in Hungary at the end of the year, including 75 operating as franchises, Heiszler said. Spar Magyarország employs more than 13,000 people, she added.
Managing director of the parent company Erwin Schmuck said Spar has invested approximately €1 bln in Hungary over the past five years.
