Salgglas completes HUF 1.1 bln technological investment

Vehicle-industrial glass manufacturer Salgglas has completed a HUF 1.13 billionn technological investment to enable the company to manufacture high-curvature glass at its plant in Salgótarján (N Hungary), Salgglas told MTI on Wednesday.
Salgglas also built a new processing line for cutting and polishing this type of glass. The company expects to receive a significant rise in orders through its existing network of customers as a result of the investment.
Salgglas received HUF 490 million in government grant through the New Széchenyi Plan for the investment.
The company employs 300 people at the plant in Salgotarjan, making it one of the biggest employers in the city of more than 37,000 inhabitants.
