Rossmann sales rise 9% in 2021

Turnover of the local unit of German drugstore chain Rossmann rose 9% to HUF 115 billion last year, Rossmann Magyarország said, according to a report by state news wire MTI.

Rossmann Magyarország has more than 230 shops. Last year it opened 15 and expanded seven. This year it plans to add twelve shops and upgrade 10.

The company employs close to 2,000 people.

Last year, Rossmann staff salaries rose over 10%, and the same is planned for this year, too, Rossmann managing director Kornél Németh said.
