Nielsen: Retail food sales up 4% in Hungary
Retail foods sales were up 4% at over HUF 1.0 trillion between December 2014 and July of this year, market researcher Nielsen reported in a recent release of data.
In volume terms, sales were up 3% during the above period, while sales of popular soft drinks increased by 7%-10%, according to Nielsen. Sales in stores with upwards of 400 sqm of retail space accounted for two-thirds of total turnover.
