High Tech Industries Austria has established a subsidiary in Brasov, Romania as the next step in its planned expansion towards eastern Europe.

With 20 employees, SC HTI High Tech Industries will initially manufacture moulds, but within six months the site (located around 200 km north of Bucharest) will be extended by an injection molding line. The product range will cover interior and car body parts for the automotive industry, as well as standard products such as buckets and flowerpots. HTI already has a plant in Vrablé, Slovakia, some 50 km east of Trnava. (plasteurope.com)
