Lithuania Retail Sales Fall for 2nd Month in March

Retail sales in Lithuania further dropped by 4.5% year-on-year in March, following an upwardly revised 1.9% fall in the previous month, figures from the Vilnius-based Statistics Lithuania (LS) showed on Thursday.
It was the second consecutive month of decline in retail activity, as sales fell for both food, beverages & tobacco (-8% vs -7.7% in February) and non-food products (-5% vs -1%).
On a monthly comparison basis, retail activity grew 14.2% in March, recovering from 7% fall in the previous month.
