IKEA sales in Hungary climb almost 5% in 2010/11 business year

The Hungarian unit of Swedish home furnishings company IKEA had revenue of HUF 33.77bn in its business year ended August 31, up 4.8% from the previous business year, IKEA Lakberendezesi said on Friday.
The number of visitors to IKEA stores in Hungary climbed 4.2% to 2.7m during the period.
The unit said 66,000 children visited play areas at its stores, and in-store restaurants sold 3.9m Swedish meatballs.
