Erzsébet voucher purchases to reach HUF 140 bln

Purchases made with Erzsébet vouchers could reach HUF 140 bln in 2014, increasing from HUF 120 bln last year, Hungarian business daily Világgazdaság reported today.

Consumers have already spent HUF 67.2 bln between January and June this year, according to the Central Statistics Office. Erzsébet coupons are part of Hungary's unified voucher scheme launched under a government initiative.
