Czech retail sales growth eases in September
The Czech retail sales accelerated 3.4% year-on-year in September, after a 4.6% growth in August, data from the Prague-based Statistical Office (CZSO) showed on Friday.
On an unadjusted basis, retail sales gained 3.6% annually in September.
Sales of non-food rose 6.7% annually in September while sales of automotive fuel advanced 2.1%.
Additionally, those of food, beverages & tobacco fell 0.2%.
On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, retail sales excluding automobile trade decreased 0.3%.
