Croatia Retail Sales Slow Further in June

Croatia's retail sales volume rose by 3.8% year-on-year in real terms in June, following an increase of 4.3% in May, the Central Bureau of Statistics (Crostat) said on Friday, quoting working-day adjusted figures.
Sales declined for non-food products (-0.3% vs. 6.7% in May while they rose faster for food, beverages, and tobacco (5.2% vs. a flat reading in May).
On a monthly comparison basis, seasonally- and working-day adjusted retail sales volume fell 1% in real terms in June, after an increase of 2.3% in May, it said.
In a separate report, the Zagreb-based agency said that Croatia's industrial output rose 3.8% annually in June, following a 3.0% increase in May.
On month, industrial production added 1.2% in June, following an increase of 0.3% in the prior month.
