Bosnian retail sales up in December

In December, Bosnia's retail sales soared by 17.6% year-on-year in real terms, following an annual increase of 16% in November, figures released by the Sarajevo-based Agency for Statistics of BiH (BHAS) show.

On a monthly comparison basis, retail sales rose by a real 2.2% in December after a dip of 0.3% in November.

Considering 2021 as a whole, Bosnia's retail sales increased by 18.1% year-on-year in real terms in 2021, after a decrease by 8.3% in 2020, data showed.
