Auchan Magyarország Raises Monthly Pay by HUF 32,000

Auchan Magyarország will raise the gross monthly pay of all full-time employees by HUF 32,000 from January, the French-owned supermarket chain operator told state news wire MTI.
Monthly pay for unskilled staff will range between HUF 380,000 and HUF 476,000 as a result, Auchan Magyország said. Skilled staff could earn up to gross HUF 510,000 a month, it added.
The supermarket chain operator is also raising the employee discount on in-store purchases from 5% to 12%, and doubling non-wage remuneration from July 1, if business targets are met.
Auchan Magyarország operates 19 hypermarkets and five supermarkets in Hungary. The average headcount at the company stood at 6,282 in 2021, public records show.
