Aldi Magyarország Staff to Get Another Pay Rise From January

The local unit of German discount chain Aldi will raise staff pay by 10% from January 1, Aldi Magyarország said on Wednesday, according to a report by state news wire MTI.
New full-timers working in stores will get a gross monthly HUF 430,700 to HUF 473,800, depending on location, from the new year.
Aldi Magyarország noted that employee pay was raised by 8pc at the start of 2022 and by 8-19pc in July.
The supermarket chain added almost 1,000 positions in 2022, raising its headcount to more than 6,000. There are 163 Aldi stores in Hungary.
