3/4 of Businesses Plan to Raise Prices Within 6 Months
Some 74% of domestic businesses plan to raise their retail prices in the next six months, according to a survey by the Economic and Entrepreneurship Research Institute (GVI), writes business daily Világgazdaság.
In April, GVI asked the heads of 2,061 businesses about their plans for the future as part of its half-yearly economic survey.
In a survey conducted in October 2022, 8% more companies answered that they wanted to raise.
The willingness to raise prices primarily affects commercial stores. Roughly 36% of the respondents said that they would increase their prices at least by the rate of inflation.
