Hungarian real estate developer, TriGranit, reached a preliminary agreement to sell the Bonarka City Center in Kraków, Poland, to Rockcastle, the company announced yesterday, according to Hungarian news agency MTI.

The deal is forecast to be closed in the upcoming months. The company did not disclose the price of the transaction.

TriGranit built the 92,500 sqm Bonarka City Center, which has been operating as a shopping centre since 2009, on 19 hectares of abandoned but recultivated land in the cityʼs Podgorze district.

Rockcastle, which is listed on the Johannesburg and Mauritius exchanges, invests in retail assets in Central & Eastern Europe, MTI noted.
