T-Systems completes €1 mln expansion at service center

T-Systems Hungary, the corporate IT systems unit of incumbent telco Magyar Telekom Nyrt, inaugurated on Tuesday a €1 million expansion at its global services center in the south of Budapest.
The center, located in the Infopark, oversees the IT tasks of 25 companies, most of them units of Deutsche Telekom, with operations in Hungary and other countries in the region as well as in Switzerland and Germany, managing director Péter Ilosvai said. T-Systems will hire an additional 60 people to staff the center and its capacity will increase to an annual 1.2 million cases from 800,000.
Ilosvai said T-Systems expects revenue of Ft 16 billion in 2006, up from Ft 12 billion in 2005. The company controls 10%-15% of Hungary's IT services market, he added.
