Rosenberger Hungary completes HUF 740m investment

The Hungarian unit of Germany’s Rosenberger, a maker of high-frequency connectors and custom cables, has completed a HUF 740m investment at its base in Jaszarokszallas (NE Hungary), HR director Zsuzsanna Ivanics Lukacs told MTI late Monday.
Rosenberger Hungary won a HUF 194m European Union and state grant for the investment, which involved installing CNC lathes, a container station and a compressor station, Mrs Ivanics Lukacs said. The unit will make 50 new hires as a result of the investment, she added.
Headcount at the unit is expected to reach 1,600 by the end of 2011.
Rosenberger Hungary inaugurated a €3.5m investment in February that doubled its production and warehouse capacity.
