Richter renews cooperation with Szeged University, R&D

Hungarian drugmaker Gedeon Richter signed a cooperation agreement on research and education with the Szeged University of Sciences (SZTE) and the Hungarian Academy of Science’s Szeged Biology Research Center (MTA SZBK) yesterday, Hungarian news agency MTI reported.

Richter CEO Erik Bogsch noted that the agreement renewed a cooperation that goes back a decade and a half. He added that the company had spent HUF 42 bln on R&D last year. One of the chief aims of the cooperation is to provide a magnet for young talent.
