Revenue of baked goods company HESI climbs 20%

Revenue of Hungarian baked goods company Heves Megyei Sütő- és Édesipari (HESI) climbed 20% to HUF 1.2 billion in 2011, business daily Világgazdaság said on Tuesday.
HESI sold 30% more bread, and sales of other bakery products were up 70% on 2011 that a year earlier. Exports grew 9%.
HESI spent HUF 130 million on investments last year, managing director Lajos Nagy told the paper.
HESI introduced 17 new products last year. The company turns out 30 kinds of bread and 170 other types of baked goods each day.
