Report: Audi eyes further investments in Hungary

German car manufacturer Audi is planning to double its warehouse space by adding 66,000 sqm to its base in Győr, northwestern Hungary, and expanding its engine development center with an estimated €300-400 mln, Hungarian economic daily Napi Gazdaság reported today.
The firm also announced yesterday that it would be signing an agreement with the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (MTA), to pave the way for the establishment of a research center in Győr that will focus on developing technology for driverless cars.
