PSzÁF cracks down on MLM insurance sales

Hungarian financial market watchdog PSzÁF has proposed amendments to legislation that would restrict sales of insurance policies in multi-level marketing (MLM) schemes, department head Ferenc Szebeledi said on Thursday. The amendment would prohibit sales methods that tie the purchase of insurance products to the involvement of distribution with remuneration, Szebeledi said.
