Prec-Cast inaugurates HUF 2 bln production hall

Prec-Cast Casting, a Hungarian unit of Germanyʼs Wolf Group, inaugurated a HUF 2 bln, 12,000 sqm production hall today in Sátoraljaújhely in northern Hungary, of which half of project costs were funded by a European Union grant, Hungarian news agency MTI reported.
Owner Wilhelm Rambold noted that the hall was part of a HUF 30 bln expansion at the base, and included a 5,600 sqm warehouse and office completed in 2013. The expansion will increase headcount by 300 from the current 1,030, he added.
According to the news agency, the company exports 90% of its products to automotive industry and electronics companies in Western Europe and in 2013 it reported revenue of more than HUF 14.4 bln.
