Plastics maker Szeplast to build Ft 1 bln plant

Szeplast Kft, a Hungarian maker of plastic doors and windows, will spend more than Ft 1 billion building a new production unit, owner Attila Csikos told business daily Napi Gazdaság.

Szeplast will build the new unit at its existing site in Szeged, southeast Hungary, in the first half of next year, Csikos said, adding that the company will also expand its warehouse there.
Szeplast, which also produces raw materials for other plastic products, will hire as many as 30 new employees, bringing the total to 130. The company may further expand production in 2008 depending on demand, Csikos added.
