Orco, Polskie Gornictwo, PKN: Central European Equity Preview
The following stocks may rise or fall in central European markets. Prices are from the last close. Stock symbols are in parentheses. The NTX Index of 30 companies in central and eastern Europe gained 1% to 1383.61 in Vienna. Poland's WIG20 rose 1.8%. The Czech PX Index advanced 1.5% and Austria's ATX Index increased 0.5%. Hungary's BUX fell 1.5%.Agora SA (AGO PW): Poland's largest publisher will pay out a dividend of 50 grosze (15 cents) a share on 2005 profit, shareholders agreed at a meeting, it said in a statement on its Web site. Agora shares declined 0.9% to 33.6 Polish zloty. Orco Property Group SA (ORCO CP): A Luxembourg-based developer with most of its business in eastern Europe is scheduled to hold a press conference to discuss the company's future plans. Orco shares lost 0.2% to 2229 Czech crown. PKN Orlen SA (PKN PW): Poland's largest refiner plans to hold its annual shareholders meeting. PKN Orlen shares gained 2.7% to 49 euros. Polskie Gornictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo SA (PGN PW): Shareholders of Poland's gas monopoly are scheduled to hold an annual meeting. PGNiG shares added 0.3% to 3.32 Polish zloty. (Bloomberg)
