Office supply companies investigated for cartel activity - GVH

Hungary's Competition Office (GVH) on Tuesday said it started investigating Hungarian office supply companies on September 6 on suspicion of illegal cartel activity.

The stores under investigation are BUDAPIERT, APIS, I-COM, a BARAT Papír, PAPIRBAZIS, ITV ALBATECH, PAPIROSZ, PAPIR-PONT, REGAL and MEDI-PRINT.

GVH has information that shows BUDAPIERT and APIS have adjusted their pricing and marketing with their business partners since 2008
